Today was weigh in day and I'm thrilled with my results. I planned and tracked faithfully since Sunday and ended up with a loss of 3.6 pounds.
Of course the big test is coming up... Tomorrow I leave with my friends for a girls weekend up in the mountains. Typically our weekend away is all about movies, games, and junk food. In fact our first stop, on the way to the rental house, is my absolute favorite pizza - Pizza Barn.
I have no plans to eat like a rabbit this weekend but I'm sort of hoping for the strength to eat like a normal human being! I hope I can enjoy 2 slices of pizza, a side salad, and a glass of water and not feel deprived. I already feel that pang in my stomach that makes me feel like I just want to gorge myself on the pizza.
We are planning to eat in for the majority of the weekend so I'm hopeful that will help me keep track of my portion sizes. Truth be told, I'm most concerned with the snacking that is sure to happen while we watch movies and play games. If there are snacks around, I have a hard time resisting.
All in all, I have two goals this weekend. The first one is to not go completely off the rails. I want to enjoy time with my friends and enjoy a few yummy treats along the way but not inhale everything in my path. I also want to get right back to plan on Sunday afternoon and not lost the momentum I've built up the last few days.
Can I do it? YES, I CAN!
